Color: The Result...

Recently a friend approached me about making cakes for her daughter's birthday! I was very excited. Then she told me the theme. Dr Seuss! I was full of ideas. It had to have lots of color and the familiar characters. Then I kind of freaked out. My drawing skills are not great. So after some careful consideration and some practice I created two Dr. Seuss cakes. But I think they turned out pretty good!

The inside turned out great too!

I got the idea from here. I made one look like a rainbow.  The other (seen above) I just sworled the colors around.  It was messy and fun.  Naomi did not get to help mommy like she usally does because of the mess factor. Although she did get to help lick the bowls.
