mother/daughter

One of my mom's favorite stories about me when I was little was my fascination with the Tupperware. I would get them out, talk to them. If there was a new one I would "introduce" it to the others and if one was missing I would make my mom scavenge through the fridge to find it. At this new house the "Tupperware" is quite accessible to Naomi. So one day as I was cooking I could hear her rummaging around. when I turned around I discovered this...

So those who are my face book friends have been seeing this picture for a while. it is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving. It also shows how big my little girl is. Every day she seems more like a big girl! The girl just won't slow down! So this is my current favorite picture of my girl!

our new house

So here are some pics of the house. I did not remember taking them. I think I was in a sugar high when they were taken.  And that is a whole other story involving Adam's truck braking down and scrambling to get him to the new town for work.

Anyway,   So here is a taste of the house we are renting...

entry way

 Dinning room

Master bedroom
(By our choice, it is the largest and "least safe" bedroom in the house)

Laundry room
(you have to go through it to get to our bedroom)

 Office and craft room
(Although I may move my craft room to the storage room)

There were afew more pictures but Google says I have used all of my storage space.  Guess I need to go and get rid of some things on my account.

Until next time!

week 1

Well we have had our first week as a family in our new town.  It have been rather uneventful.  It had been pretty chilly and windy so Naomi and I stayed home mostly.  We did get out an run a few errands.  The bank, the park, the grocery store and to Sonic.  This week we will be getting out for some serious park time at the beginning of the week.  Then we have a serious temp drop.

This could be good because out new case worker should be calling us sometime to set up a home visit so we can get reestablished in "the system"  as well as get set up for respite care. I am excited and nervous about the switch.   So many rules and regs to make sure we follow.  I am going to have to do something with the knives and I am not sure what to do about our random steps.  However, I know it can be done.

I have not gotten to take any pictures of our home but I did get a picture of my "welcome to your new home rose" that God blessed me with!

More to come soon!  I am sure!  I just have to get myself back on a schedule!
