Home again!

Because we have a little (we hope) free time we decided to visit my family in Texas. It was an amazing blessing to be there. Naomi enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. We also got to meet their new cat. I will get in to that later this week. for now i thought I would give you a run down of a 14 month old in a car seat for 12 hours. Yes we are cruel parents, forcing our little one to endure 12 hours in a car seat. But 12 hours is the length of the trip not the time in the seat. We made sure to stop pretty regularly and we let her walk around and play some. She did an amazing job traveling. We are both quite amazed at how well our little girl did in the car.

Now, many children would do this on such a long ride
Or this... Or even this...

Not my daughter...Gotta stretch...

Peek-a-boo!

And the dog?

She slept and dodged things raining down from above.

flowers

These are some pictures I took a few weeks ago. I can't believe it got cool enough that Naomi needed a jacket. We were playing in th eback yard when she found these flowers. She spent the whole rest of the time playing with them. It was so cute and girly! I could not help but to take the pictures. It is amazing to see the "girly" part of her develop. She knows how to tilt her head just so and smile. She is amazing!

Blessed are those who trust the Lord & have made the Lord their hope & confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank . Jeremiah 17:7-8

A thought for today

In His heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
Proverbs 16:9
A mans steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?
Proverbs 20:24

My blessing

My husband is a huge blessing to me. I am amazed at the little ways he finds to bless me. He knows how much I dislike doing laundry each week. Look what I caught him doing today!

He gets along great with my dad. Here they are looking at a baby rattle snake! Yikes!

He loves his daughter! He is wonderful with her. As i type this they are outside playing. He just got done feeding her.

I am so blessed by Adam! He is so much to me and he does so much for me.

Life with him is an adventure. You never know when an engineering joke will pop up, of when he will burst in to a random song. He jokes about life being a musical, and it sure is at times with him!

He is always challenging me. Currently we are reading the entire bible in 90 days. During this he has been reminding and encouraging me to read. We have had many discussions about what we read and what it means.

He is a mighty prayer warrior. He is on his knees each night and he prays through out the day as well. He knows his bible and stands firm behind that it says.

I could keep going but I want to go out and play too! So I am off to be with my blessing!
